Francesco Guidoccio is a seasoned editor and director based in Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie, with over a decade of experience spanning film, television, and new media. With a background in music, his editing style is defined by rhythmic precision and a sharp visual narrative, a combination he’s brought to over 100 music videos, feature films, and television programs.

His career highlights include editing the critically acclaimed documentary Edgecodes (2004) and the Sundance-selected feature Sk8life (2007). In 2008, his music video for The Constantines’ "Credit River" premiered on Pitchfork and was featured by The New York Times Freakonomics blog.

Francesco's editing credits also include the documentary Don’t You Forget About Me (2008), which explores the legacy of John Hughes, and Bear Nation (2010), an SXSW official selection executive produced by Kevin Smith. That same year, he directed The Sheepdogs’ breakout single "I Don't Know."

Francesco’s television work includes editing for VH1’s Metal Evolution (2011) and 20 episodes of The Dakota Sessions for CMT. In 2013, he directed and edited Serena Ryder’s chart-topping single "What I Wouldn’t Do," earning two MuchMusic Video Award nominations. 

In 2016, he edited the wrestling documentary Sweet Daddy Siki for CBC Gem and began a five-season run as editor and producer on CBC’s Q with Tom Power. He also made a key contribution to the Sundance award-winning documentary Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World (2018) by editing its powerful opening sequence.

Additionally his commercial projects for Corus Entertainment have featured leading brands like Kraft, Xbox, and YTV.
